Orders
VIGT accepts orders once payment has been received. As soon as payment is received, the buyer will receive a confirmation email. The right to confirm orders by telephone is reserved.
Payment
You can pay by credit card or Icelandic debit card. Card transactions are made through the secure payment site Saltpay, so VIGT never receives buyers' card information. You can also pay with Netgíró.
Shipping method
Orders can be sent by post or picked up at our store during opening hours or by appointment. Orders sent by post are either sent by Iceland Post or Dropp. It usually takes up to 3 business days to process the order. If the product is sent by Iceland Post, Iceland Post's delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of the product. The same applies to Dropp. If you choose to pick up, the order will be picked up at our office at Hafnargata 11, 240 Grindavík. You can only pick up during previously announced opening hours or by arrangement. Please note that the product is not shipped on weekends or public holidays unless otherwise agreed.
Price
24% VAT is included in all product prices for orders inside Icleand. International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes in the destination country. Buyers are responsible for these charges.
Product return
The return period is 14 days from purchase. Products can only be returned if they are unused and in their original packaging. Product returns must be reported by email to vigt@vigt.is. Refunds or exchanges are available. Refunds are made in the same form in which the product was paid for. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the shipment until it has been received by VIGT. Shipping costs are not refundable.
If more than 14 days have passed since purchase, we will never refund returned items, only exchanges or credit notes can be issued.
Returning goods is the responsibility and expense of the buyer unless the buyer has received the wrong or defective product. If a product is returned, it must be delivered to VIGT ehf.'s address.
If a customer has received the wrong or damaged product, they must inform VIGT ehf. about it at the first opportunity.

VIGT reserves the right to change prices without notice. All information and prices are published subject to typographical errors and image distortion. VIGT reserves the right to cancel an order if it becomes apparent that the product has been incorrectly priced or is out of stock. In such cases, the customer will receive a refund.

Law and venue
Icelandic law applies to transactions with VIGT ehf., as well as other matters in these terms and conditions. If a dispute arises between VIGT ehf. and the customer, the matter shall be brought before Icelandic courts.
